Ryan Reynolds is responding to Martha Stewart calling him “not funny.”

The “Deadpool & Wolverine” actor addressed comments from Stewart, who said the actor is “not funny in real life,” when she was on Bilt Rewards’ November “Rent Free” game show.

In response to Stewart’s comments, Reynolds took to X on Nov. 2 to share his thoughts.

“I’d disagree with her. But I tried that once. The woman is unexpectedly spry. She really closed the gap after a mile or so,” he said.

Actor Hugh Jackman also reacted on X to Stewart’s comments, writing in a Saturday post, “Finally someone says it.”

During the show, Bilt CEO and founder Ankur Jain asked Stewart to name three celebrities she thought respondents would deem the most fun to hang out with.

After naming her friend, Snoop Dogg, Stewart then chose Ryan Reynolds as her second answer — but explained why she expects fans would choose him.

“He’s probably on the list just ‘cause he covers himself up in his movies and you don’t see his face,” she said of Reynolds.

“You want to know something? He’s not so funny in real life,” she continued. “No, he’s not so funny. He’s very serious.”

The last celebrity who Bilt members voted they would love to hang out with was Taylor Swift, which didn’t shock Stewart. Instead, the chef called the “Lavender Haze” singer “just lovely.”

When asked how she felt about the list overall, Stewart said that it mostly made sense. Although Stewart noted that she would swap Reynolds out for George Clooney “because he’s funny.”

“He’s really nice to hang out with,” she added of Clooney.

As for how she feels about Reynolds, Stewart didn’t stop there.

When Jain expressed his surprise at her thoughts on Reynolds, Stewart said, “He can act funny, but he isn’t funny. Maybe he can get to be funny again.”
