‘America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders’ Renewed For Season 2 At Netflix

America will get more of the Thunderstruck routine as Netflix has renewed America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders for a second season.

The docuseries that follows the cheerleading squad for the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys team, will continue giving viewers access to the iconic team and franchise. Season 2 will follow the 2024-25 Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders squad from start to finish — kicking off at auditions and training camp and continuing all the way through the NFL season.

Following the June 20, 2024 premiere, Netflix reports that the docuseries positioned itself among the streamer’s own global Top 10 TV list for four weeks and remained in the Top 10 U.S. TV Shows for 5 weeks straight. The series reached the Top 10 TV list in 27 countries worldwide.

America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders is directed by Greg Whiteley. The docuseries is executive produced by Whiteley and Adam Leibowitz of One Potato Productions; Andrew Fried and Dane Lillegard of Boardwalk Pictures; Ross M. Dinerstein and Rebecca Evans of Campfire Studios

This series joins Netflix’s ongoing relationship with the Dallas Cowboys: an upcoming untitled docuseries exploring the history of the Cowboys and their owner Jerry Jones and hosting the highly anticipated Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson live boxing event at AT&T Stadium, home of the Cowboys, on November 15th.
