EXCLUSIVE: Longtime talent agent Jonathan Weinstein has transitioned to management at Anonymous Content, Deadline can reveal.

Based out of the company’s Los Angeles office, Weinstein joins from United Talent Agency, where he has spent his entire career to date. Over his 17-year tenure at UTA, he worked with a diverse roster of film and television actors including Emmy, SAG Award, and Golden Globe nominee Margaret Qualley (Maid), Emmy nominee Nicholas Braun (Succession), Emmy and Golden Globe winners Jennifer Coolidge (The White Lotus) and Ewan McGregor (Obi-Wan Kenobi), Emmy winner Tony Hale (Veep, Being the Ricardos), and Independent Spirit Award winner Molly Shannon (Only Murders in the Building).

While Weinstein’s roster is still sorting itself out, he’ll continue to work with Qualley in his new role. One of the town’s most in-demand, up-and-coming talents, Qualley is coming off the best marks of her career for her starring turn opposite Demi Moore in Mubi’s Cannes prize-winner The Substance. Set to start shooting horror thriller Victorian Psycho in the new year, her upcoming slate also includes Ethan Coen and Tricia Cooke’s Honey Don’t, with Aubrey Plaza and Chris Evans, as well as Richard Linklater’s Blue Moon, and Huntington alongside Glen Powell.

In a statement to Deadline on their new hire, the Anonymous Partners said, “Jonathan is an incredible representative to world-class actors. His advocacy, vision and commitment to his clients’ success has left an indelible mark on their careers. With his deep experience and proven track record, we couldn’t be more thrilled to have him join the Anonymous Content team.”

Stated Weinstein, “I’ve long admired Anonymous Content’s commitment to storytelling and support of artists. I am thrilled to join their team as I embark on this next chapter with my clients.”

Other recent additions to the Anonymous Content roster include Senna showrunner Vicente Amorim, Grand Theft Hamlet filmmakers Pinny Grylls and Sam Crane, Outer Banks star Carlacia Grant, and actress Cara Delevingne. On the film side, the company recently produced Nickel Boys, RaMell Ross’s adaptation of the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel from Colson Whitehead, which Amazon MGM Studios releases on December 13. They’ve also recently rolled out Alfonso Cuarón’s lauded Apple miniseries Disclaimer, starring Cate Blanchett, which is expected to be a major player this awards season.

Upcoming projects for the small screen include Zoe Kazan’s Netflix adaptation of East of Eden, starring Florence Pugh, as well as The Savant starring Jessica Chastain and Neuromancer starring Callum Turner, both for Apple TV+.
