Watch Glen Powell run into his look-alike on the Golden Globes red carpet

Glen Powell bumped into his doppelgänger at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards.
In a Jan. 5 video shared by E! News, the “Twisters” star is seen standing on the red carpet when he spots his look-alike and exclaims, “Oh, it’s you!”
The two men — both clad in suits and sunglasses — share an embrace, and then the clip cuts to Glen Powell and his twin posing for a selfie. After taking the snap, Glen Powell calls his mom, Cyndy, over for an adorable introduction.
Cyndy Powell can be heard yelling in delight as Glen Powell’s look-alike, whose name is Max Braunstein, lifts his shades to reveal the uncanny resemblance. Cyndy Powell and Braunstein then embraced in a side hug, and the three continue to chat amongst one another.
In a separate clip shared by People, Glen Powell’s look-alike posed alongside a Timothée Chalamet doppelgänger on the red carpet. They both held signs that read, “I won a lookalike contest and now I’m at the Golden Globes,” a nod to two separate look-alike competitions for Glen Powell and Chalament that occurred in 2024.
At the 2025 Golden Globes, Powell brought his parents, Cyndy and Glen Sr. Powell, as his dates — and they were more than happy to do interviews on the red carpet.
“This is a big night for us,” Cyndy Powell told Zuri Hall while on the Golden Globes red carpet, as her son is nominated for best performance by a male actor in a motion picture for his role in “Hit Man.”
“It’s a journey we’ve been on for a long time, and we’re really proud of him,” Cyndy Powell gushed.
In May 2024, Glen Powell’s parents trolled him during the screening of “Hit Man” by holding up signs that read, “Stop trying to make Glen Powell happen” and “It’s never gonna happen.”
They also stopped by the TODAY Plaza few months later in July 2024 when their son was being interviewed on the show. They held up posters that said, “I changed Glen Powell’s diapers” and “Glen Powell is our force of nature.”
