“The Traitors” Season 3 is almost here!
The hit reality series, which pits two groups — the “Faithfuls” and the “Traitors” — against one another, is set to return on Peacock on Thursday, Jan. 9. Peacock is owned by TODAY.com’s parent company, NBCUniversal.
In the series, the Faithful have to find out who the Traitors are in their group. If they successfully determine each and every Traitor, then they’ll leave the show with a handsome cash prize. However, if they’re not able to do so, then any Traitors who make it to the end of the game will take the entire prize for themselves leaving the Faithfuls with nothing.
Originally starting in the U.K., “The Traitors” has been a massive hit since Season 1 of the U.S. version premiered in January 2023. So far, the show has won three Emmys and might win another one if Season 3 is just as exciting as host Alan Cumming says it’ll be.
During an October 2024 appearance on TODAY with Hoda & Jenna, he revealed what fans can expect to see in the new season.
“I’ll just say one word: brutal,” he shared.
The cast of “The Traitors” Season 3 has already been confirmed and it looks like it’ll be one interesting show. Tony Vlachos, who won two seasons of “Survivor,” will be a part of the cast, along with Chrishell Stause from “Selling Sunset,” Tom Sandoval from “Vanderpump Rules,” Britney Spears’ ex-husband Sam Asghari and more.

What time does ‘The Traitors’ Season 3 premiere?
“The Traitors” Season 3 will be available to stream on Peacock when it drops on Thursday, Jan. 9, at 6:00 p.m. PT / 9:00 p.m. ET.
On that day, the first three episodes will be available to stream and then more episodes will be available weekly starting the following Thursday.
