Kelsea Ballerini responds to pregnancy comments on social media after being sick on tour

Kelsea Ballerini is addressing pregnancy comments swirling after she was unwell during a series of recent stops on her current tour.
In early February, the country music star was unable to finish her setlist during her concert in Buffalo, New York. After leaving the stage early, she later posted an explanation on social media.
“Buffalo, I am so, so sorry that I could not finish the show tonight,” she said in a video. “I am sicker than I’m trying to be, and I did not want to let anyone down tonight, and I just got through the first few songs and I couldn’t do it. I’m so sorry, but I never want to give you a half-ass show.”
Ballerini then announced that she needed to reschedule multiple upcoming shows to focus on her health. Just prior to the Buffalo shows, after the singer confessed during her concert stop in Detroit, Michigan, that she was sick, some fans speculated in the comments about the “Miss Me More” singer’s health, with one asking “Maybe pregnant?!?”
The new “Voice” coach immediately shut down the rumors in a TikTok video.
In response to the fan’s question, Ballerini said, “Or maybe it’s the flu?” She sniffled and added “Yeah, cool,” before ending the clip.
Multiple fans offered support in the comments. “The flu is the worst. Hope you are feeling better,” one said.
Another wrote, “People can be so rude sometimes kelsea im sorry i hope u feel better.”
Ballerini said soon after on social media that she will make the rescheduled shows “the best I’ve ever played in my whole life.”
“I’m going to go rest now, and get better, so I can really show up for the rest of this tour, and I hope you understand, and thank you for the grace to be human, and I love you.”
Ballerini will now perform the rescheduled Buffalo concert on April 11. Her Pittsburgh show has been moved to April 12 and she will visit Toronto on April 13. The new dates will be the final performances of her current tour, featuring songs from her 2024 album, “Patterns.”
