Kylie Kelce clarifies ‘silly’ storyline about meeting Taylor Swift: ‘People are deeply disturbed by this’

Jason Kelce’s wife, Kylie Kelce, is opening up about her relationship with Taylor Swift.

During a Feb. 11 appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, Kylie Kelce recalled the first time she met Swift, and she said they did, in fact, cross paths for the first time at the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills game in January 2024.

“Really?” host Alex Cooper responded.

“Yes. People are deeply disturbed by this,” Kelce replied. “There was all this stuff leading up to it about: ‘Well, why haven’t they met? They’re avoiding each other.'”

However, Kelce noted that she’s “not avoiding anyone,” and she’s “more than happy to meet someone, especially someone that Travis is dating.”

That Travis is, of course, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, who’s been dating Swift for over a year and is the brother of former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce.

“But it was funny to me because I kept saying to people I didn’t meet Travis for probably close to a year when Jason and I were dating — and she’s busy. It’s just so silly to me that that’s the storyline that’s written,” Kylie Kelce added.

Cooper then asked the pregnant mom-of-three how she learned about Travis Kelce and Swift’s relationship.

“I’m assuming that your family was getting told this in some capacity at some point,” Cooper said.

However, Kylie Kelce dispelled those rumors and said that wasn’t the case.

“I will say we knew before everyone else knew, but it was not like … it did not hit the group chat,” she said.

Kelce added that she and her husband found out about the big news together, and that was before Swift attended her first Chiefs game in September 2023.

Though, after Swift and Kelce met, the pair had something fun to bond over.

“We grew up going to the same shore points, so her family was like Sea Isle, Stone Harbor, and that’s the exact areas that I grew up going to,” Kelce said. “I’ve gone to Sea Isle City my whole life.”
