Awkwafina, Corey Hawkins, Simon Rex & Method Man Join Peacock’s ‘Poker Face’ For Season 2
EXCLUSIVE: Awkwafina (The Farewell), Corey Hawkins (Straight Outta Compton), Simon Rex (Red Rocket) and Cliff “Method Man” Smith (Power Book II: Ghost) will guest star in Season 2 of Peacock’s Emmy Award-winning original series Poker Face. Details regarding who they will play are under wraps.
They join previously announced guest stars Giancarlo Esposito, Katie Holmes, Gaby Hoffmann, Kumail Nanjiani, Sherry Cola, Kevin Corrigan, Ben Marshall, Kathrine Narducci, Cynthia Erivo, BJ Novak, Margo Martindale, John Mulaney, Ego Nwodim and Sam Richardson.
From creator, writer, director and EP Rian Johnson, Poker Face is a mystery-of-the-week series following Natasha Lyonne’s Charlie, who has an extraordinary ability to determine when someone is lying. She hits the road with her Plymouth Barracuda and with every stop encounters a new cast of characters and strange crimes she can’t help but solve.
Showrunner Tony Tost serves as executive producer for Season 2 alongside Rian Johnson, Natasha Lyonne, Ram Bergman, Nena Rodrigue, Adam Arkin, Nora Zuckerman and Lilla Zuckerman. Poker Face is T-Street’s Johnson and Bergman’s first television series and is produced by MRC, along with Natasha Lyonne, under her production banner Animal Pictures. Lyonne will again direct in Season 2.
