Donald Trump has hailed a new “golden age of America” after all but sealing a stunning victory over Kamal Harris in the U.S. presidential election — and now world leaders are reacting to his triumph.

French President Emmanuel Macron, who was known for taking a pragmatic approach to Trump in 2016, wrote that he was ready to work together with the incoming U.S. president.

“I look forward to working with you in the years ahead,” added UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who met Trump during a trip to New York in September.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said Italy and the U.S. were like “sister” nations and Trump taking office would strengthen their “unshakable alliance, common values, and a historic friendship.”

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, an avowed supporter of Trump, was one of the first to respond as election results became clear in the race to the White House.

“Good morning, Hungary! On the road to a beautiful victory,” he wrote in a Facebook caption of an image of himself watching CNN’s live coverage of the vote.

Orbán, Europe’s longest-serving leader and Vladimir Putin’s closest ally in the European Union, has previously vowed to open “several bottles of champagne” to toast Trump.

Nigel Farage, a British lawmaker who has become a close surrogate of Trump over the years, described his victory as “the most incredible political comeback of our lifetime.”
