Sophie Turner shares PDA-filled photos for her boyfriend’s birthday
Sophie Turner marked boyfriend Peregrine Pearson’s birthday with a sweet message on social media.
Turner shared a series of photos on Instagram Oct. 27, giving fans a rare glimpse into the couple’s relationship.
The post, which comes nearly a year after the then-rumored couple were photographed together in Paris, started with a romantic snap of Pearson dipping Turner as they shared a kiss.
More snaps followed, including pictures of the couple on various trips throughout their relationship and a solo shot of the British aristocrat.
“Happy Birthday my angel pie,” Turner captioned the post. “30, flirty and thriving.”
Turner and Pearson have kept their relationship under the radar. They made their first public appearance in February, and the “Game of Thrones” star sparingly posts photos of Pearson on social media.
The actor previously shared several snaps on Instagram from a wintery vacation in January, tagging Pearson in a photo from the ski lift. He was also featured in several photos she shared in an Instagram post from September.
This marks Turner’s first public relationship since Joe Jonas filed for divorce from the actor in September 2023. The former couple, who started dating in 2016, got married in 2019 and welcomed two children together: daughters Willa and Delphine.
Since the couple’s split, Turner has given rare comments about her marriage and divorce, telling British Vogue in May that it “was really surreal, like a fever dream.” Turner shared with the publication that despite feeling welcomed by Jonas’ family, she “hated” the perception of being a Jonas wife.
“There was a lot of attention on the three brothers, and the wives,” she said, referring to Kevin Jonas’ wife, Danielle Jonas, and Nick Jonas’ wife, Priyanka Chopra. “Well, we were always called the wives, and I hated that.”
She added, “It was kind of this plus-one feeling. And that’s nothing to do with him — in no way did he make me feel that — it was just that the perception of us was as the groupies in the band.”
The actor also addressed the rumors that spread in the wake of their divorce about perceptions of her as a mother.
During the interview, she recalled how she felt when she was stuck on set to finish filming “Joan” as articles began to come out about her lifestyle, while her daughters were still in the United States
“It hurt because I really do completely torture myself over every move I make as a mother — mum guilt is so real!” she said. “I just kept having to say to myself, ‘None of this is true. You are a good mum and you’ve never been a partier.’”
As for her new relationship, she told British Vogue that she’s “having fun dating.”
“I mean, it’s strange when you get married so young,” she said at the time. “It’s like you never really learn how to date. So it’s all very new to me.”
