Victoria Monét And DJ D-Nice To Join Michelle Obama And Other Celebrities At When We All Vote Rally In Atlanta
EXCLUSIVE: Victoria Monét and DJ D-Nice will join a lineup of other celebrities at a get-out-the-vote rally in Atlanta on Tuesday for When We All Vote, the organization founded by former First Lady Michelle Obama.
Obama will headline the rally, which will also feature performances by Ari Lennox and a local drumline.
Monét will join other speakers including When We All Vote co-chairs Kerry Washington, Shonda Rhimes, Rita Wilson and Liza Koshy, along with ambassadors Kelly Rowland, Marsai Martin and Ciara. Kalen Allen and Lynae Vanee will co-host.
The rally, which will be live-streamed, will promote first-time and early voting in particular in the state. Early voting ends on Nov. 1.
Others scheduled to attend and speak at the event include Kate Capshaw, EarthGang, Nneka Ogwumike, Reyna Roberts, Patti Scialfa, Lynae Vanee and Lynn Whitfield.
Obama and others have campaigned for Kamala Harris, but When We All Vote is not affiliated with a campaign and is a nonpartisan initiative to increase participation. Obama launched the effort in 2018.
