Which ‘Love Is Blind’ Season 7 couples are still together now?
All seven “Love Is Blind” couples who got engaged on this season of the hit Netflix dating show were grilled during the Season 7 reunion, which addressed all the drama that happened on and off camera.
Season 7 couples Leo Braudy and Brittany Wisniewski, Monica Davis and Stephen Richardson, Alex Byrd and Tim Godbee, Nick Dorka and Hannah Jiles, Marissa George and Ramses Prashad, Taylor Krause and Garrett Josemans, and Tyler Francis and Ashley Adionser reunited with hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey for the sit-down, out Oct. 30, that broke down every emotional and uncomfortable moment from the pods until the weddings.
Although it’s been about a year since the show was filmed, tension still loomed between multiple cast members, particularly exes Nick and Hannah and Marissa and Ramses.
Tyler’s social media scandal involving the mother of his three children, which evolved in real-time as viewers watched him marry Ashley in the finale, also led to him being called out and placed in the hot seat.
Amid the intense confrontations, each couple had the opportunity to share what went wrong — or right — during filming and how they feel about each other now. Read on to learn where each couple stands today.
Leo Braudy and Brittany Wisniewski
What happened on the show: Leo and Brittany were one of the last couples viewers saw get engaged … and one of the first to break up.
Shortly after they met in person for the first time, fans learned that Leo and Brittany would not be included in the rest of the experiment.
“Brittany and Leo were not one of the six couples chosen by producers to continue their journey in Mexico. They took their own trip to Miami and broke off their engagement weeks later,” text on the screen read in Episode 5.
What they said at the reunion: Leo said that he regretted talking so much on his money during the experiment. He also said he didn’t realize how he was affecting Brittany and Hannah, and has been “working on” taking people’s feelings into consideration.
Leo also told Hannah that he’s ashamed of what happened between them. “I’m so sorry, you do not deserve that.” He also apologized to Brittany for putting her through the ringer.
Brittany, on her end, said she was “uncomfortable” with filming and how affectionate Leo was with her shortly after meeting in person. She also revealed that the producers told them they were “the weakest link” and wouldn’t be going to Mexico.
Brittany said that going on vacation “makes or breaks” a couple and they quickly learned that lesson during their trip to Miami. However, she said that she loves Leo and they have become friends.
Brittany revealed she is dating someone, while Leo is “on the market.”
Stephen Richardson and Monica Davis
What happened on the show: Monica and Stephen started out strong but their relationship began to unravel during their trip to Mexico.
They struggled to communicate, and Monica felt slighted when Stephen chose to talk to Garrett instead of sharing a sweet moment with his fiancée during a fireworks display.
Back at home, Monica voiced her concerns that Stephen wasn’t the attentive and romantic partner he portrayed himself to be in the pods. They split in Episode 8 after Monica revealed that Stephen sent text messages to another woman that were “filled with fetishes.” She then said she thought he never actually wanted to get married.
“I wasn’t pretending. I did make a completely stupid mistake while being drunk at a sleep test with somebody who texted me,” he replied during their final conversation.
What they said at the reunion: Stephen and Monica started off in a heated discussion about having no respect for her.
He shared that they met up for dinner after to discuss the texts and that he wrote a letter to Monica’s parents to apologize. Monica claimed that he only did that so he could mention it at the reunion.
“That wasn’t my intention,” he said. “I do apologize. At the end of the day, if you can’t trust me, then there’s nothing I can say that can change anybody’s mind.”
Stephen said that while “nobody cares” about him, he owns up to his mistakes.
Monica then said Stephen admitting he slid into a girl’s DM was “a yellow flag,” but appreciated that he was honest about it. But because he was truthful, she said, “never in a million years would’ve thought he would have emotionally cheated on me.”
Tim Godbee and Alex Byrd
What happened on the show: Alex and Tim were another couple whose connection seemed to instantly evaporate post-reveal. Their initial conversation after meeting was stilted, and they had a disagreement off-camera in Mexico that made Tim contemplate leaving the show.
But they decided to continue with the engagement and met each other’s parents. Alex’s family meeting went well, with her dad giving his blessing to Tim. Upon meeting Tim’s parents, the interaction appeared to go smoothly — until Tim broke up with her a few days later saying “he didn’t really appreciate” some of her behavior during the visit.
“I understood you were sleepy, but my parents drove 10 hours to meet you. As soon as the cameras cut, you decided to go to sleep at the first opportunity. These are the most important people in my life and all I have left in this world,” he said.
She defended herself, but he already knew he didn’t want to continue the relationship.
What they said at the reunion: Alex began by explaining that what led to their breakup was a verbal disagreement that wasn’t shown. She said her father had been admitted to rehab about a week before she left for Mexico.
“It weighed on me and I just wanted space,” she said, adding that she wasn’t given the space that she had wanted and it “turned into a disagreement.”
Tim said that he felt things got out of hand and “hates that our worst moment is the moment everyone wants to hear about the most.”
When talking about their big fight, Alex said their relationship was always on Tim’s term and she never had a say.
Alex also addressed the nap that she took that really upset Tim. She said that she was exhausted and wanted to rest before a bartending shift.
“The hate that you projected onto me on that breakup was mind blowing,” she said. Alex, on his end, said that he felt attacked.
Nick Dorka and Hannah Jiles
What happened on the show: Compared to the other couples, Nick and Hannah had a rough start to their relationship. In the pods, Hannah built a strong connection with Leo and chose to cut things off with Nick. She later changed her mind before Nick left and realized she loved him.
She accepted his proposal, but when they met she shared some concerns in her confessional interview, saying she was “bigger than him.” In Mexico, they argued after Nick chose to ride a fake duck on the beach, giving Hannah “the ick.” She also wrote a note that he found listing the qualities she disliked about him. When they moved in together, they further bickered about responsibilities and maturity levels. Hannah also was concerned that her friends didn’t like Nick.
Before her wedding dress fitting, Hannah confronted Nick and said she couldn’t go through with the wedding.
What did they say at the reunion: Hannah joked that she would still never get on the fake duck, before being asked if she regretted being too direct with Nick.
She said that she’s very blunt and sometimes that makes her “sound like a b—-.” However, she said that the things she said to Nick were “true” but had to work on her delivery.
There appeared to be tension between the two with how “direct” Hannah was, with Nick saying she’s entitled to her opinions despite him being confused about the things she would say.
Hannah said she has been working on herself over the past year and got teary eyed when asked if she loved herself. “I don’t know, I think I do.”
At one point, Nick stood up for Hannah saying she’s “fantastic” and that “she’s been getting way too much hate online” for being “super transparent.”
The two later got into a discussion about Nick’s reasons for being on the show and wanting to be famous. Hannah called him “calculated” and Marissa said him wanting to gain fame from the show was “a slap to the face” for those seeking true love.
Other contestants then started calling out Nick for commenting on Hannah’s looks during the season and accused him of lying.
Ramses Prashad and Marissa George
What happened on the show: Marissa and Ramses are one of the first couples in “Love Is Blind” history to fall apart due to ideological differences.
The two became close in the pods as he opened up about his first marriage and she discussed her time in the military. They were attracted to each when they met and their physical connection matched their emotional connection. But when they moved in together, the two started to discuss their pasts and futures, realizing they disagreed on their view of the United States military and birth control. When he met Marissa’s mom Vanessa she pressed him on his previous marriage and her concerns that he was interested in Marissa’s wealth. In Episode 11, Ramses revealed he had second doubts after speaking with friends. He told Marissa in the next episode that he wasn’t ready to marry her.
What did they say at the reunion: Marissa became emotional recounting her experience on the show, saying, “I felt like my heart was breaking all over again.”
Ramses also said it “was difficult” to watch the episodes and had to pause the show a couple of times, “Seeing how she was falling apart.”
He said that at the end, he realized that he couldn’t be with Marissa and felt like she deserves someone who will “embrace who she is full, as she is. I just felt that that person couldn’t be me.”
Marissa’s mom, Vanessa, was also in the audience and said that she had “wanted to punch” Ramses in the throat after he left her daughter at the altar. She said that, ultimately, she was thankful he called off the wedding. “He did the right thing,” she said, thanking him but also saying he should’ve been “man enough to tell her” earlier that he was having doubts.
As for Marissa, she said she felt like she never had a say in making the relationship work. Additionally, Ramses also clarified that he never gave Marissa an ultimatum on contraception.
Tyler Francis and Ashley Adionser
What happened on the show: Tyler and Ashley were at one point the strongest couple in Season 7 before a shocking revelation.
They fell for each other in the pods and in Mexico they reiterated their plans to say “I do” at the end of the experiment.
But in Episode 9, Ashley learned that Tyler had fathered three children. He claimed that he acted as a sperm donor to help a friend and that the children didn’t know what he looked like.
Ashley said she was disappointed and that their communication had been their “superpower” so she couldn’t understand why he would omit this information. She ultimately forgave him and they tied the knot in the finale.
Meanwhile, conversation about Tyler’s children played out off camera.
“Love is blind. Love is blind for me, I’ll say it again. I have my person and my best friend,” he said in an interview during their reception.
Ashley said, “I wouldn’t have found a love like this if I didn’t do this experiment and look at someone for who they are on the inside.”
Are Ashley and Tyler still together now? They have been married for almost a year, as Nick Lachey mentioned.
Tyler said that married life has “been great,” adding that their past year together has been filled with “a lot of laughter, a lot of growth, a lot of love.”
Tyler also spoke up about being a sperm donor and said that “those kids, that family, they did not sign up for this.” He said that after he helped his close friend as a sperm donor, her partner left her and he “voluntarily stepped in and helped.” He explained that is the reason that there are photos of him with the kids online.
“I do want to let people know that Ashley knows all of this,” he said, adding that he doesn’t owe anyone an explanation except his wife. “I’m good, we’re good. I’m not gonna keep harping on it.”
Ashley also spoke about people saying that she was “blindsided” in the pods, saying that “it’s insulting to my intelligence.” She also said that Tyler never wanted to share on camera. “I just didn’t feel like it would be an authentic experience, or that I could continue the experience if we didn’t,” she explained.
Ashley said when she said “I do,” she said “I do to all of it. I was aware and I took on what I wanted to.”
Garrett Josemans and Taylor Krause
What happened on the show: Taylor and Garrett quickly bonded in the pods over their love of science.
They had a setback when Garrett called Taylor “calculated” after she said she didn’t want to reveal her race in the pods. She stood by her decision and they moved past the speed bump.
When they met, they joked about their heights and had palpable chemistry. Their connection grew in Mexico and back in Washington, D.C. their lives seamlessly blended into one.
Garrett’s family wondered if they were moving too fast and worried about Taylor wanting to move with Garrett to San Diego. He remained confident in their relationship but she started to question him after she learned that he communicated with his ex. He previously said he only “liked” a text from his former girlfriend but later revealed he sent her a response. Taylor was upset, but they made up during a trip to San Diego where they met her family. In the finale, they both said “I do.”
Taylor gushed about her husband at their reception,“Garrett is the kind of man that only comes along once in a lifetime. … I wouldn’t want to jump in the deep end with anyone else. I love you so much. I’m so excited for what’s to come.”
He agreed and added, “It’s just the start of the rest of our lives. That’s the beautiful thing about it. We’re just getting started and I can’t wait.”
Are Taylor and Garrett still together now? It appears that the pair are still married.
When asked if Garrett was still the “best catch,” Taylor said, “Of course he is.”
“He makes me feel loved and comfortable, and shows up every day for me, and that’s all you can really ask, especially in these crazy, incredible circumstances,” Taylor said, calling him her “best friend.”
